Bismarck Spring Load Restrictions to Begin March 10, 2010

Spring load restrictions will be placed on City of Bismarck streets and alleys effective March 10, 2010 at 7 a.m. Placement of spring load restrictions is coordinated with the North Dakota Department of Transportation spring load restrictions on NDDOT highways in the surrounding area.

Restrictions are lifted when roadbeds have stabilized enough to carry normal traffic.

Contractors/truckers should move heavy loads prior to March 10, 2010 before load restrictions are placed on City of Bismarck streets and alleys.

The spring 2010 load restriction map will be placed on the website March 9, 2010, prior to spring load restrictions being placed on city of Bismarck streets and alleys. The map will be available at www.bismarck.org, click on City Departments, Engineering, Maps.
