Bismarck Snow Removal Operations Through December 31, 2009

The City of Bismarck Street Department will continue plowing residential streets until they have all been cleaned. Sanding crews will continue to sand as needed.

A reminder to all citizens, businesses, and contractors. Please remove vehicles off streets to aid in snow removal operation. It is illegal to push, shovel or blow snow into the street, alley, onto another person’s property, or onto the City’s right-of-way. The fine for this violation is up to $1,000 and 30 days in jail.

12:01 a.m., Tuesday, December 29th
The City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown East – West streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

12:01 a.m., Wednesday, December 30th
The City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown North – South streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

12:01 a.m., Thursday, December 31st
The City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown East – West streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

Any cars parked on these downtown streets during that time will be towed.
Businesses along these signed street cleaning areas should have their sidewalks cleaned before midnight on their designated day.
