Pre-Production Meeting: Art View to Interview Jason Torreano

November 12, 2008

We just finished our pre-production inteview for the Art View program hosted by Daphne Ghorbani.

This upcoming episode will feature Daphne doing an interview with Jason Torreano.

If you were given a disposable camera and were asked to tell the story of your life in 27 photos, what would you capture?  Jason Torreano did just this with a group of kids on the streets of South Africa.  Jason’s project produced images, both still and video, that will stay with you for a long time.  The contrast in lifestyles, sometimes less then a mile apart, comes to light.

Daphne and Jason will discuss his time in South Africa and what it meant to the kids that were involved in the project.  This is a show that you will want to watch more than once.

The intention is to start a similar project in the Bismarck and Mandan area.  Tune in for details on how you can get involved, if interested.

Art View is featured on Community Access, cable channel 12. You can find information and schedules on our website.
