Reel Retro – Revolt of the Zombies
Posted by: | CommentsReel Retro co-hosts Jackson Bird and Anita Casey-Reed talk about this “cheesy” zombie film, one of the first low-budget zombie films, from 1936. Dean Jagger is the mastermind pulling the strings of the zombies. The cast, some of whom never made it to full star status, also includes Dorothy Stone, Roy D’Arcy, Robert Noland, George Cleveland, E. Alyn Warren, and Carl Stockdale. The film is set during World War I in Cambodia. This not a typical zombie film.
Bird’s and Casey-Reed’s discussion, along with the entire film is now available online!
