Bismarck, N.D. – “Bismarck Burleigh Residents DO NOT need to notify emergency managers of flood related damage at this time”, said Gary Stockert, Bismarck Emergency Manager and Mary Senger, Burleigh County Manager. Residents should continue to maintain and keep receipts, photos, and documentation of their flood damage and will be notified by Burleigh Emergency Officials when this information is needed by Emergency management. Bismarck Burleigh officials will begin the initial Preliminary Damage Assessment with FEMA on Friday, April 3rd. Residents do not need to call with damages at this point in time. Additional information will be announced by Bismarck Burleigh Emergency Management through local media at a later date. Residents are asked NOT TO CALL the Flood Hotline with flood damage information.
