East Divide Avenue will be closed to through traffic due to the upgrading of the DMVW railroad crossing.

This railroad crossing should be reopened mid week.

A Detour will be in place.

Westbound traffic should use Bismarck Expressway to Rosser Avenue to 35th Street.

Eastbound traffic should use 35th Street to Rosser Ave to Bismarck Expressway.

The outside lanes on the Century Avenue bridge at Hay Creek will be closed for work on the bridge.

The pedestrian trail on the north side of the bridge could be closed when work is in progress on the north side of the bridge.

Vehicular traffic movements will be restricted to one lane in each direction.  The lane restrictions will be in place thru Thursday.  Please reduce speed in the work area.

Traffic should be advised of potential congestion during peak traffic periods and exercise caution in this area.

Mayors’ Economic Development Advisory Group Seeks Public Input
Bismarck, N.D. –  The Mayors’ Economic Development Advisory Group (MEDAG) will hold a Public Input Meeting, Saturday, July 11, 2009, 9 AM, in the Tom Baker Room, City County Building, 221 N 5th Street, Bismarck.

The public is invited to attend to provide input and to learn more about recommendations the committee developed that could enable more efficient and effective local economic development.

The group established by Bismarck Mayor John Warford and Mandan Mayor Tim Helbling and supported by the City Commissions of Bismarck and Mandan released an Interim Report of the group’s activities and progress over the period between October 2008 and January 2009.
