Jackson Bird

Jackson Bird is a tree lover during the day and a film fanatic at night. Jackson, a transplant from Illinois, has interest in films ranging from Akira Kurosawa films to Zombie films, making him a fitting volunteer host for Reel Retro. Jackson has been involved since 1995 as a member of Cinema 100, a local organization that brings culturally diverse films to the Bismarck/Mandan area.

Little known facts about Jackson:

- Spends his vacation going through cemeteries and court houses and is a member of the Bismarck/Mandan Historic & Genealogy Society.

- Has a Masters in Public Administration from University of North Dakota.

- Collects comic books and movie posters.
